Mercer Island Schools Close Wednesday Due to Winter Weather
Accumulations of 5-10 inches of snow are forecast for Wednesday throughout the area. Check the Mercer Island School District webpage at http://www.misd.k12.wa.us/ and Mercer Island Patch for the latest news.
Due to heavy snow in the weather forecast and freezing temperatures, all Mercer Island School District schools will be closed and all programs, activities and building use will be canceled for Wednesday, Jan. 18. In addition, no off-island transportation will be in operation.
Please check school websites or www.SchoolReport.org — the district's emergency alert service — for rescheduling of activities and events. District officials continue to monitor current conditions throughout the District and the latest weather forecasts. Parents and staff are advised to monitor local news media or the District website for any updates.

- Northwest Yeshiva High School: Closed
- St. Monica Catholic School (Pre K-8): Closed
- French American School of Puget Sound (Pre K-8): Closed
- CHILD School: Closed
