Ron Paul Campaign Arrives in Puget Sound Thursday

Republican presidential race hopeful Rep. Ron Paul will stump in Washington state at rallies in Vancouver, SeaTac and Richland on Feb. 16 and 17.

Ron Paul brings his presidential campaign to Washington on Thursday, with a stop at SeaTac for an evening rally.

He’ll be at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel’s Grand Ballroom at 7:30 p.m. for a free event. Details are available on the campaign’s event page.

Patch plans to be there, so be sure to check back Thursday for our coverage.

Paul’s visit comes just days after fellow GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum held a rally in Tacoma that was disrupted by Occupy Tacoma protesters shouting chants during the outdoor event at the Washington State History Museum.

The visits come in the weeks leading up to the Washington state Republican Party precinct caucuses, held on March 3. Mercer Island's local caucuses will meet at Islander Middle School.
