The Navy demonstration team makes practice runs for the show that will officially end Seafair.

The Blue Angels, formally called the "Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron," has been performing its aerial show since 1946, with this year marking the centennial of Navy Aviation. 

Seen here over Lake Washington and Mercer Island from Seward Park, the Angels practice again Friday, Aug. 5, from 12:45-2:40 p.m., with full shows Saturday and Sunday from 12:45-2:40 p.m.
