A local Mercer Island resident found a small (around 30 lbs.), tan, male Cairn Terrier wandering along 93rd Avenue SE, just a block east of Mercer Island High School shortly after noon.
The dog had a harness but had no tag, and a King County Animal Control officer checked to see if he had a chip implant, but he had none.
King County Animal Control picked up the dog at 4 p.m. and brought him to the Kent animal shelter, so he’s no longer on Mercer Island.
