Mercer Island City Council Aug. 5 Meeting Canceled

Elected officials will meet instead on Aug. 12 to discuss city business and likely take action on the city's cable agreement with Comcast and revising local sewer utility regulations.

City Hall officially gave notice today that Mercer Island City Council's Regular Meeting of August 5, 2013 has been moved to August 12, 2013.

Based on the council's planning schedule, likely topics include efforts to block I-90 tolling, investment in Mary Wayte Pool, and helping relocate Youth Theatre Northwest. Action may be taken on renewal of the city's cable agreement with Comcast and revising local sewer utility regulations.

The agenda for the August 12 meeting will be available on the City's website<http://www.mercergov.org/Page.asp?NavID=2811> by 5 pm on August 8.

In addition, the August 19, 2013 meeting has been canceled. Β  The next regular meeting will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 6:00 pm at City Hall Council Chambers, 9611 SE 36th Street, Mercer Island, WA.
