New Minister at the Congregational Church on Mercer Island

The Congregational Church on Mercer Island is pleased to introduce Dr. Mark Miller as our Interim Minister. Dr. Miller was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and currently lives in Snoqualmie, Washington with his wife, Diane, and English cocker spaniel, Faith.  Mark pursued his education at Stanford University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology, and Yale University Divinity School where he earned a Bachelor of Divinity.  He received his Doctor of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary.  Dr. Miller is a retired United Church of Christ minister and has served as an interim pastor on four previous occasions, most recently at the Eastgate UCC in Bellevue..  Mark is an avid fly fisherman and published author of Pastoral Epistles and murder mystery novels.  Some of his works include Road Signs on the Way to FishingCast Your NetsMurder on Tillamook Bay, and Mask of Sanity.  Mark also blogs at: www.markmiller.wordpress.com.
