Come Meet Mercer Island Patch and Enjoy Hunting for Eggs at the Mercerdale Park Eggstravaganza

The City of Mercer Island is hosting an Easter egg hunt on Saturday afternoon and after dark at Mercerdale Park, 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Send your Easter and egg photos to kendall.watson@patch.com by Sunday and see them posted on Mercer Island Patch.

The sun is expected to be out on Saturday. Large numbers of kids will swarm the grassy field in search of Easter eggs and other treats at Mercerdale Park.

If you're in Mercer Island Town Center tomorrow during the "Eggstravaganza" community event in Mercerdale Park, drop by and say hello to Mercer Island Patch.

We'll have a table there and you can learn more about the news and information website, how you can receive regular updates and chat with the crew which puts the stories, calendar items, photos and videos together.

The "Lil' Ones Egg Hunt" for children ages 1-6 will start at 5 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m., followed by an "Flashlight Egg Hunt" egg-hunt for older kids ages 7-11 at 8:30 p.m. Mercerdale Park is located at the intersection of 77th Avenue SE and SE 32nd Street.
