Mercer Island Library Opens Children's Learning Garden (Video)

The non-profit Pomegranate Center and Tully's Coffee worked with local volunteers to build a reading garden on the grounds surrounding the library.

Funded by a grant from , the  Children's Learning Garden is one of four proposals across the Seattle Metro area selected by Issaquah-based The Pomegranate Center for construction. 

Pomegranate Center's Managing Director Katya Matanovic took a few moments during the garden's grand opening celebrations to walk Patch through the different features of Mercer Island's newest gathering place.
