Mercer Island's gets 'The Bachelor' Treatment Tonight on ABC (Video)

The Bachelor's Brad Womack will visit the family home of local resident Chantal O'Brien and three other contestants in tonight's episode at 8 p.m. on ABC.

It's the 15 seconds of fame that Mercer Island has been waiting for.

The 15th Season of ABC's "The Bachelor" brings the show back to the Puget Sound after a two year hiatus, this time to 's home on Mercer Island.

The latest episode's commercial trailer features Womack and O'Brien in the first five seconds of the clip being chauffeured through downtown Seattle (is that the Alaskan Way Viaduct you can see out the rear window?) and meeting Chantal's father, Mike O'Brien, a former NFL player and owner of Seattle area auto dealership O'Brien Auto Group (and current owner of the old on West Mercer Way) at the family home.

No word from "The Bachelor" producers on how much time TV producers spend here, but there's only one way to find out. The show airs on ABC-affiliate television station KOMO 4 at 8 p.m. tonight.
