April 15: Drop In Gym at the for Special Needs Kids and Teens

• 2 pm to 4 pm
• Enjoy this program for special needs kids and teens ages five to fifteen.  Meet up with friends and family to enjoy playing in facility with your child or teen. The facility is not staffed so supervision by a parent or caregiver is required at all times. Program is offered every other Sunday so next drop in gym will be April 29.
• Cost: $3.25 per resident, $4.50 for non-residents of Mercer Island.

• Kids six and under accompanied by an adult caregiver will enjoy zipping around on scooters and playing with balls, giant blocks and other fun toys. A great place for you and your child to get out of the rain and run, play, socialize and have fun.

• Teens are invited to hang out, do homework, play board games or just chat after school at the library. Teen Zone is a great place to complete group work for school or catch up with friends.

 April 16: Teach Your Baby to Sign: American Sign Language for Babies and Toddlers at the

• 7 pm to 8 pm
• This is a program for parents. You may attend with or without your baby.
• Learn how to use American Sign Language to communicate with babies as young as five months old. Signing can stimulate intellectual growth and reduce frustration.
