E.T. The Extra Terrestrial Outdoor Movie July 28 at Mercerdale Park: Play Date!

July 26: Adventure Playground at

• 1 pm to 4 pm
• For kids ages four to thirteen. Children ages four to six must be accompanied by an adult. Kids ages seven to thirteen may attend without adult supervision. 
• This program is offered every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm through August 31, 2012.
• Every child must have a waiver signed by a parent on file to participate which are available at the program entrance or on the park’s website.
• Adventure Playground is a one of a kind play area that allows kids to create their own play adventure in the wooded forest of Deane’s Children’s Park, children are provided toolboxes, building supplies, safety items and the freedom to create build-it –yourself play zones with the guidance of park staff. 
• Cost: Free but donations to fund this popular program are always welcome. 

July 26: Rocking, Reading, Dreaming Concert at the with the Not-Its

• 2 pm to 2:45 pm
• For families with children of all ages
• Dance to the music of the children’s rock band, the Not-Its!
• Cost: Free

July 27: Fun Mobile at

• 1 pm
• Stop by the park for some outer space fun!
• Cost: Free but donations are always appreciated.

July 28: Outdoor Movie at E.T. The Extra Terrestrial

• 7:30 pm Enjoy special activities inspired by the movie
• 8:30 pm Movie begins
• Celebrate the 30th anniversary of this PG rated heartwarming classic tale of friendship and discovery.
• Bring blankets, lawn chairs and flash lights.
• If rain is forecasted, call the at 206 275-7609 to confirm cancellation of the movie due to bad weather.
• Cost: Free Concessions will be sold on site.

July 31: Dream a Dream Concert at the with Caspar Babypants

• 10:30 am to 11:15 am
• For families with children of all ages
• Enjoy songs about bedtime and dream time mixed with traditional folk songs, nursery rhymes and original music.
• Cost: Free but space limited so show up at 10 am to pick up one of the limited number of tickets 30 minutes before the show begins.
