'Hungry Games' Art Contest at the Mercer Island Library and More, Play Date!

Fun activities and some sweet deals for the whole family this upcoming week, March 7 - March 14.

March 1 - 19: Hungry Games Art Contest at the

Teens in grades six to twelve may enter one piece of art in the contest for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the movie.
Entrees must be submitted at the Mercer Island Library no later than March 19th, accompanied by the entry found found online.
Entrees will be judged by the Mercer Island Library Teen Advisory Board with a winner announced on March 22, 2012 and all entrees on display until April 16, 2012.
Cost: Free. Contest sponsored by the Friends of the Mercer Island Library.

March 7: Story Time for Terrific Twos and Threes at the

2 pm to 4:30 pm
Kids six and under accompanied by an adult caregiver will enjoy zipping around on scooters and playing with balls, giant blocks and other fun toys. A great place for you and your child to get out of the rain and run, play, socialize and have fun.

March 10: The Adventures of Peter Rabbit and His Friends at

For the whole family
Youth Theatre brings classic children’s literature to the stage with this delightful and rambunctious production.
The play continues through March 18th. Thursday and Friday shows at 7:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday matinee at 2:30 pm.
