Tatters Again Donates a Portion of December Sales to MIYFS

The local fashion and clothing retailer, owned by Michele Tesler, has pledged a portion of her holiday season profits to support the city's Youth and Family Services Department.

Tatters once again is donating a portion of all sales proceeds during the month of December to Mercer Island Youth and Family Services (MIYFS).

Tatters boutique owner Michele Tesler has a history of spreading the spirit of giving during the holiday season by donating to the primary human services provider in the community β€” MIYFS. Tesler has run the December campaign for the last three years and has participated as a business partner during the MIYFS "Giving from the Heart" campaign each February.

"Once again, MIYFS will benefit through the generosity of Tatters. We are lucky to have business owners like Michele on the Island that look to benefit the community as a whole," says MIYFS Director Cynthia Goodwin.
