Swimmers in Lake Washington are enjoying some of the warmest swimming conditions of the year this week, according to King County's water quality monitoring system.
Water temperatures at Luther Burbank Park reached 78.8 F on Monday, Aug. 12. Bacteria levels in the water also remain low, at 1 colony detected per 100 mL of lake water.
