After a phenomenal season, we're proud to feature the as this week's Whiz Kid! Thanks to MI resident for the nomination.

• Whiz Kid's Name: MIHS Varsity Girl's Basketball Team: Rachael and Renae Tessem – 9th grade; Christina Williamson, Kris Brackmann, Caroline Carfi, Savanna Reid, Marlo Cafarelli – 10th grade; Carly Andersen, Lauren Ellis – 11th grade; Patti Chew, Jae Shin, Sarah Taylor, Hailey Gullstad – 12th grade

          •    Whiz Kid's Age or Age Range: 9-12th grade

          •    Whiz Kid's School:  MIHS

          •    Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Made it to the top 16 in State 

• Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomenes: the MIHS Varsity Girl's Basketball Team's key accomplishments are not limited to their outstanding performance on the basketball court (although it is outstanding); but also in the classroom and community.  They are overall, great students, athletes with rigorous practice and game schedules, and contributors to their school and community.
