Fremont Fair Puppy Parade and Costume Contest

Join Fremont Fair's first ever puppy parade and costume contest on Sunday, June 19th at 2:30pm. Paralleling its human counter part, the Fremont Art Council's Solstice Parade, fairgoers are invited to bring their four-legged friends on Sunday to participate in this fun pup procession. This gathering of all that is good in the world begins on the west end of the fair next to the Bike Corral and it's totally free to participate, so no need to dig up the hidden treasure in your yard.

A $10 donation will get you a professional digital photo of you and your pup, a dog goodie, and a chance to win a sweet raffle prize with proceeds benefiting Solid Ground. Locally-based Solid Ground takes a community-building approach to ending poverty. They help 64,000 people each year to overcome homelessness, hunger and despair, while giving them the skills and resources they need to thrive.

While dogs charm well enough au naturel, if your pup has a wardrobe then you may be able to win the Puppy Parade's Costume Contest. Judges will vote for the most smartly attired animals and prizes will be awarded to the top three clothes hounds.
