Creative and Unique Art continue to be shown at the MIVAL Gallery on Mercer Island.  May Artist Reception Opening is featuring Pat Howie - "Road to Paradise"

Special Public Reception, May 4, 5pm to 8pm

Pat Howie Artist Statement:
At nineteen, I left my family home and moved to Hawaii. It was the first time I looked at the world and its people in a different way. It was an individual journey to new faces and different places.

Through my art, I want to capture the beauty of this world so I can share he joyous parts
with others. With a brush in my hand and oil paint on my palette, I describe in a colorful way the
happy encounters and moments I am given every day. Like moving to an unknown area, whether a
physical location or a psychological one, I keep looking ahead to expand my life while seeing the
beauty around me with “new eyes”.
