Outdoor Movie: 'How to Train Your Dragon' Aug. 25 at Mercerdale Park
The Disney Pixar-produced film will begin at 8 p.m. and concessions will be sold to support the cost of presenting it.
Mercer Island Parks and Recreation Department will present its final outdoor film of the summer at , showing "How to Train Your Dragon" on Saturday, Aug. 25, according to a press release.
This animated film is set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons. According to the trailer, "Hiccup, a Viking teenager doesn't exactly fit in with the tribe's longstanding traditions of heroic dragon slayers when he becomes an unlikely friend of a dragon and learns there are more to the creatures than he assumed."
Staff will be on site with special activities inspired from the movie beginning at 7 p.m. The movie start time is approximately 8 p.m. Concessions will be sold to help support the cost of the film, which is rated "PG" and has a 98 minute runtime.
