The new restaurant will open in October in the old Alpenland location.

Island Broiler, Mercer Island's newest restaurant set to open in October in the old Alpenland location, released a graphic rendering of the venue on Tuesday.

Elizabeth Montgomery of Catch Design Studio emailed Mercer Island Patch the graphic above that illustrates the interiors of the "Island-Themed" restaurant on 78th Ave. Southeast.

The menu is not final yet but will include many Vietnamese dishes such as grilled short ribs, Beef La Lot, braised clam pot, specialty noodle dishes, as well as burgers, according to Montgomery.

The owner is Seattle resident Bruce Le.
