will have its Gala Celebration September 15th, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, in the Fortuna Lodge dining area. This is a time for food and entertainment for the whole community, whether a resident on campus or from other parts of our extended community.
The entertainment this year will be Pat Wright and the Total Experience Gospel Choir, Seattle’s celebrated multicultural choir that began as a class in Gospel music at Garfield High School and now includes all ages. The choir has sung in 38 states and 22 countries as well as for two U. S. Presidents. Pat was the ABC News person of the year in 2007 for the relief work that the choir did during the Katrina Hurricane disaster in New Orleans. Our food will be an artfully presented array of hot and cold hors d’hoeuvres and desserts.
This wonderful celebration is a support for the Covenant Shores Benevolent Fund. This fund helps those who through no fault of their own are unable to meet all of their living expenses.
