Jerry, You do not recognize your self promotion. PLEASE no more comments. I enjoyed the break!

As a reminder to all, please do not use the comments on Mercer Island Patch as a forum to promote your business. As an excellent alternative, our new sales manager Adam Johnson (Adam.Johnson@Patch.com) would be happy to help you review our very competitive (and affordable!) advertising rates. He can also be reached at 206-214-8097.

By the way, any thoughts on these houses in this past week's House Hunt? The primary photo of the South-end waterfront home on West Mercer Way looks like something right out of a James Bond film. I have to say, if I was a guy with a young family (yes) and a lot of money (ahh — no), I'd be taking a serious look at this.

Meredith, thanks for your comments. I'm working with certain commenters to see if we can't reach a happy medium, and we do welcome a certain blog on local real estate and home design. Unfortunately some comments stray past the boundaries of what is permitted on Patch, according to our Terms of Use. I ask for your patience and hope all can respect the minimum standards we try to maintain in our comments. Kind Regards, Kendall Watson, Mercer Island Patch Editor

Jerry, You forgot your first of many self-promotions posted on May 28, 2011: "I offer these (Informal) Low-Cost Inspections to prospective homebuyers. We walk through the house together as I point out pluses and minuses of what we're seeing as well as remodeling and/or any addition possibilities." NO MORE POSTS!!

These types of self-promotional posts are not permitted and I will be enforcing a zero-tolerance policy from this point forward. Thanks all for your understanding.

Jerry, What I don't like is pompous commentary. If I follow your lead, I should sign off as ... Meredith Rothman, MD, PhD (Stanford) Now, who gives a hoot? Tone it down.
Chili Palmer July 11, 2012 at 10:58 PM
Jerry, look at me.
John Travolta July 12, 2012 at 02:07 PM
Now that's funny.
