MI Thrift Shop Announces MLK Weekend Two-Day Sale

The Mercer Island Thrift Shop will take 25 percent of all items in the store.

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Mercer Island Thrift Shop is holding a two-day sale this holiday weekend, this Sunday and Monday, Jan. 21-22.

The city-run Mercer Island Thrift Shop, which donates all proceeds to the Mercer Island Youth and Family Services Department, will take 25 percent of all items in the store.

Hours of operation are Sunday 12-5 p.m., Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. , and Saturday 10 a.m. -6 p.m.

Open since 1975, Mercer Island Thrift Shop has been an important source of income for the municipally owned and operated Mercer Island Youth & Family Services.
