Here's two examples of the glowing reviews left by several parents on our original poll story:

The corned beef, AWESOME food and NCAA bracket talk were good times at the Community Center, what a perfect start to a St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

And on with the next in our series of Readers’ Choice polls.

Next week we'll be talking about the Readers' Choice on Mercer Island's favorite Martial Arts schools, coming up next Saturday, March 17. A story announcing the new poll will post here at 5 a.m. on Monday. We've already begun compiling a list of favorite schools, which isn't limited to Karate or Judo.

We welcome nominations for great martial arts schools to put on our polls. Please email the editor at kendall.watson@patch.com or let us know on Facebook.
