Coming Soon! Mercer Island Patch Gets a New Look

In five days, Mercer Island Patch will have a brand new design and a whole new way to connect.

Hi, everyone! We have some exciting news to share about Patch – we’re getting a whole new look! It’s coming infive days and it’s going to make Mercer Island Patch easier to use and a better place to connect and share.

The best part? You’ll be able to see it all on your mobile phone!

Here’s what you need to know:

Our site is being rebuilt from the ground up! The news will look better and be easier to comment on. And you’ll find more local voices to keep you in the loop with the latest know-how and opinion.

We’re adding Boards to make it easier for you to connect with each other, debate an issue, announce a garage sale, invite friends to your graduation or find a lost pet.

More to say? It will be easier to start your own blog, too. You’ll soon be able to start your own blog anytime so you can have a stronger voice in the community - or just share your expertise and opinion. If you’re already a Local Voices blogger, these tools are much more streamlined and straightforward.

You’ll see all of this (and more) on Mercer Island Patch in five days. For a sneak peek, check out Stonington-Mystic Patch.

Me too. But let's see the the new patch looks like. Well, we have no choice.

The new site might look quite different from what we're used to, but I think it will be a vast improvement over what we have now. But that's just me. (You can check out what's in store for us at http://stonington.patch.com/ ) TPTB definitely will want to hear your takes on the redesign once it launches.

Not an improvement. Alas.
