Deer Sighting on the Rock

Mercer Island resident Ryan Flynn caught a group of deer hanging out on West Mercer Way on Aug. 1 from his bicycle

Ryan Flynn was cycling on W Mercer Way, near the south end of the island, when he saw this group of black-tail deer and snapped a photo.

The population of black-tail deer on Mercer Island appears to have migrated to the South-end of the Island. On May 17, a car accident killed an adult buck trying to cross the road.

Makes us think we're back on Lopez Island when we see they've been in our South Mercer Island garden.
