- Why Go: Pick up all your locally grown favorites and more this Sunday at the Market. Mr. Darby will be entertaining the little ones from noon to 12:45 p.m. Followed by a Cherry-pit spitting contest for the kids at 1 p.m. The Yaamba Marimba Band will also be performing this Sunday. And as always, the Master Gardeners will be on site to answer any gardening questions you have.

- Why Go: Looking for laughs this weekend? Just a short drive across the bridge to the Parlor in Bellevue is where you'll find them. Kyle Cease is a stand-up genius. His routine will have you laughing all night long. But don't take my word for it. Check out this YouTube clip to see Cease in action.

- Why Go: Join the Mercer Island Arts Council's for another installment of their summer concert series, Mostly Music in the Park. Sunday's featured musicians will be Orchestra Zarabanda, an extremely talented Cuban salsa orchestra. Not sure of what to expect from Orchestra Zarabanda?
