'Secrets' of Mercer Island Featured on Evening Magazine

The secret histories of Luther Burbank Park and The Roanoke tavern are featured on the TV show.

Evening Magazine recently featured the "secret histories" of Luther Burbank Park, The Roanoke Inn, the city's old and new presidential connections and more.

Councilwoman Jane Meyer Brahm, who has written a forthcoming book on Mercer Island history, talked with Evening Magazine reporter Michael King about the Island's history. Mercer Island resident Susan Blake also recounts a close encounter with Pres. Barack Obama when he was a baby.
