Wind Advisory Extended to 4 a.m. Wednesday

A wind advisory for gusts up to 45 mph that was to expire at midnight as been extended to 4 a.m. Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has extended its wind advisory for the Puget Sound are to 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Winds between 20 and 30 mph are likely with gusts up to 45 mph.

The winds may cause local damage to trees and power lines, with small trees possibly toppling due to satursated soils or recent ice damage, said the advisory.
