(Blake Edwards, 1964)—Peter Sellers is Inspector


Clouseau in this original comedy classic.


Clouseau is charged with catching The Phantom, an


elusive jewel thief. Can the inspector’s determination


and zeal overcome the fact that he is a complete klutz,


doesn’t know The Phantom’s identity, and that his wife


is the thief’s intimate accomplice? Also starring David


Niven, Robert Wagner, and featuring music by


Henry Mancini.
