Mercer Island Parent Edge is presenting the movie - "Miss Representation" on March 20th 7:00 pm at the MIHS PAC.
This event is for parents and kids grades 8-12 due to explicit content and language surrounding the collective message that our young women and men receive regarding the value of women in society. The movie contains stories from teenage girls as well as interviews with politicians, journalists, entertainers and academics including Nancy Pelosi, Katie Couric, Rachel Maddow, Rosario Dawson, Gloria Steinem and more. Following the film, there will be a panel discussion mediated by MIYFS and CTC and the opportunity for Q and A.
