Tree Planting at NYHS
An Invitation - Tree Planting at NYHS
The NYHS sophomore Biology students have been working on a longitudinal Environmental Science project in connection with students from a school in Seattle's sister city of Be'er Sheva.
As part of that project, several students opted to research which types of plants best utilize carbon dioxide (and therefore would be the most helpful with the issue of global warming).

On Thursday, April 11, the Biology classes will be putting their research into action in an early recognition of Earth Day. We will be planting on campus some of the species of plants they found to be the most environmentally beneficial.
This event is open to all and we invite anyone who is interested in making a positive impact to grab a shovel and join us as we get our hands dirty!
