Senior Foundation Fundraiser at Island Books

Our theme is "Sneak Preview" featuring the soon-to-be published book by Jane Meyer-Brahm, Mercer Island History: from Haunted Wilderness to Coveted Community.  At 7 pm Jane will provide a video presentation, "the Un-History of Mercer Island", followed by a question and answer exchange.
There will be some nibbles and beverages @ 6:30.  Bring your shopping list or book club lists or simply buy gift certificates for use anytime during the year.  You can drop into the store during the day or even phone in orders to 206-232-6920.  Please mention the sale is to be credited towards the Senior Foundation, so we get 20% of the sales for the day.
At 8 pm we will draw the winning raffle tickets for six tickets to the Seattle Great Wheel (Ferris Wheel), a copy of Jane's book, and two bottles of wine.  Winners need not be present.  Tickets are $5 and are available from board members, the night of the sale or please call Ina Bahner: 206-236-4073.
