Fran Call, or "Miss Call" as she was known to a legion Mercer Island students, is the speaker for the September meeting. She will share stories of 20 years of bicyle trips she took with a group of students every summer. The Cylemates pedaled "every inch" of the way to places like New York City, Washington D.C. and Williamberg VA. Alaska was also a frequent destination. They camped at night in tents they carried on their bikes ate cold cereal and sandwiches they made. No one was every hurt, but Mss Call has some great stories to tell.
