WSDOT is altering the weekend schedule for Interstate 90's express lanes due to anticipated traffic for the Sunday, Dec. 30 Seattle Seahawks game at CenturyLink Field vs. the St. Louis Rams.
The express lanes will close to eastbound traffic at 5 a.m., and will be open to westbound traffic from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., at which time they will close and reopen to eastbound traffic by 3 p.m.
The Seahawks/Rams game will kickoff at 1:25 p.m.
WSDOT's normal I-90 express lane schedule, :
Weekdays: The I-90 express lanes will open to westbound traffic from 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The lanes will open to eastbound travel from 2 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Weekend: The I-90 express lanes will open to eastbound traffic from 2 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. the following Monday.
