Mercer Island, WA has always been highly regarded all over as a very special place for families to live. It's a "right-sized city" of some 22,000 people out in the middle of lovely Lake Washington surrounded by ever-growing (almost coastal) Seattle.

. I always look forward to each week's "House Hunt". Of course, some of these homes for sale are more interesting than the others with lots more attention to design including how they adapt to their site. J-

. Right now it's reported that not many homes are for sale on Mercer Isl. I've seen this imbalance happen time after time- and it always seems to balance out for various reasons. Probably will do so again shortly. J-
