Mercer Island has always been a challenge to build upon. Perhaps that's why it has attracted those families who like the different and varied homes of all sizes we have here. J-
Reading my earlier Comment, I'm convinced Mercer Island's highly varied topography is what saves it from being overrun by Spec Builders. It also makes it a more interesting place to live- & design Custom Homes. I've designed a large number- and may well do more although remodelling is a large part of what I do now. Neighbors do call on me to make their homes fit their lifestyle better. J-
