When it Became Possible to Live Outside the Cities

Check out this old photo, which reminds me of the old highway that preceded I-90 used to wind across the Island on its way to Snoqualmie Pass and onward.

I love these pictures of old cars and the roads they drove on. They made it possible to live outside the city, as we first did in Innis Arden and for me, to design many suburban homes.
