Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Environmental Self-Defense

Recycling and Cereal on Mercer Island this weekend.

Saturday, June 4th bring your recyclables, the ones that are difficult to recycle, to the . The services are provided free, and the proceeds, from the raw materials, go to fund local charities including, but not limited to the Seattle Children’s Hospital, and local food banks.
You may bring and drop off electronics, appliances, stereos, televisions, monitors, batteries, barbecues, lawn mowers, computers and more. You can find more information on the program at www.1greenPlanet.com

Also:  The Youth and Family Food Pantry on the Island contacted us last week.  They are in need of donations of cereal. If you can contribute just drop it off at , or you can drop it off at our school at in the 77 central building if that is easier for you.   THANKS!
