Welcome to the first post on Mercer Island Pulse, Patch Edition! We hope you will join us for weekly news about the local real estate scene, including which Windermere Real Estate/Mercer Island  listings will be held open over the weekend. 

Hello and Happy Friday! Did you see the news that Mercer Island High School’s Homecoming Week is early this year? Festivities start Monday, September 16th, and run though Saturday, September 21st. This year’s theme is Party of the Centuries. The parade will be held in the Downtown core on Friday, September 20th, starting at 4:30 pm. And the Homecoming game against Lake Washington will be later Friday evening, over at the MIHS Stadium – kick off is at 7pm. Go Islanders!

On to open house news! Windermere Real Estate/Mercer Island agents are hosting numerous open houses over the weekend. Five lovely Mercer Island homes will be available to preview this weekend — for two of them, this will be there 1st open house! Also, two of the Island homes experienced price reductions this week. An elegant Newport Shores home will be held open today— if you looking for a home with close access to a marina, check this one out! Plus, a well-located West Seattle Craftsman-style Multilevel home, also with a recent price reduction, will be available to preview both Saturday and Sunday.
