For 42 years, the Mercer Island Half Marathon has been an annual March event. This year, the Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, March 23rd. Runners and walkers have several race distance choices – you can run or walk the half marathon, run the 10K, or walk or run the 5K. The next price increase for registration occurs Tuesday, March 3rd. Click here for the current registration costs. If you can’t register before March 3rd, join Mercer Island Half Marathon at their Discounted Registration Party, hosted by Roanoke Inn Tavern and The Mercer Luxury Apartment Homes. The party will be held at The Roanoke Inn* on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Attendees will receive $5 off registration and must be present to receive registration discount. All proceeds from the Mercer Island Half Marathon benefits color cancer prevention and other Rotary causes.
