If you love keeping track of local real estate statistics, Windermere Real Estate/Mercer Island publishes two blogs which specifically address relevant, local real estate numbers.
Weekly Property Report is updated each week with 16-week summaries, by price point, for fifteen local neighborhoods -- including Mercer Island. In addition, trend statistics are published once a month for the city of Seattle, Mercer Island, the Eastside and King County on Weekly Property Report.
The Waterfront Report is updated monthly with listing and sales data for private waterfront homes sited on major bodies of water in the greater Seattle-Eastside region. There are a total of 4 reports to examine: Seattle, the Eastside, Mercer Island and Lake Sammamish. In addition, a synopsis regarding local waterfront real estate activity is a part of each monthly blog post.
Both blogs contain pdfs of the reports for you to print out for further examination, and archives of past data.
