Chelsea Garbell, a 2008 NYHS Graduate, Selected as NYU's Student Commencement Speaker

Chelsea Garbell, a 2008 NYHS graduate, to deliver NYU's student commencement address at NYU's May 22nd graduation to be held at Yankee Stadium.

Northwest Yeshiva High School alumna, Chelsea Garbell,  is New York University’s student commencement speaker this year at the university's 2013 graduation to be held at Yankee Stadium on May 22nd.

Chelsea Garbell, a 2008 graduate of Northwest Yeshiva High School and overall valedictorian of her class, is expected to graduate summa cum laude from  NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development with a Bachelor of Science. She majored in media, culture, and communication, with minors in public health and policy, and Hebrew and Judaic studies. She was a national finalist for a Rhodes Scholarship.
