alternative school options

Has the idea of Montessori education (or elements thereof) been considered for the MISD?  Montessori is not just for pre-school!  elementary is divided into lower elementary with multi grade classrooms, ie 1,2,3 and upper elementary 4,5,6.  this might provide different options for what type of building (less expensive?) is constructed.  also, if the building were designed with the future of possible changing demographics (ie could be used as elderly housing), it would have more value to the community and tax payers and voters might be more amenable to approve the funds.
