Lend a hand in getting Mercer Island's own phonebook in the mail.  As it has since 1943, the 2014 Mercer Island Directory is going out this Friday to Island residents.  Join members of the Mercer Island Guild at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Parish Hall, from 9 AM 'til we're done.  Stuffing envelopes (no licking!) and pre-sorting the books are the main tasks.  Sponsored ads and donations generated by the Directory support uncompensated care at Seattle Children's Hospital.
