Day Care Owner Assault Case Moves Forward
Laura C. Martin, 45, is charged with misdemeanor assault and battery, and third-degree malicious mischief after police arrested her Nov. 21.
The case against Mercer Island day care owner moved forward in Mercer Island Municipal Court this morning.
Martin, 45, is charged with misdemeanor assault and battery, and third-degree malicious mischief near her Mercerdale home. The home is also the site of her home day care business.
A hearing on the admissibility of evidence against Martin will be held on May 12.
