Local Attorney Arrested in Seattle Arson Case

The Mercer Island attorney was arrested earlier this year for allegedly making threats against a Seattle Municipal Court Judge.

Seattle Police have reportedly arrested a Mercer Island attorney on suspicion of arson, according to Vanessa Ho of SeattlePI.com.

The story links the man to a house fire on the 7100 block of 39th Avenue SW in Seattle. The man is the same attorney arrested for on March 10 muttering "I'm going to kill her tonight," within earshot of a bail bondsman.

According to a report from the Seattle Fire Department, the first 911 call came around 10:30 a.m. as smoke poured from the residence and flames shooting through a front bedroom window. Once inside, the crew found flames coming from three separate rooms in the house. No one was inside the home when firefighters arrived.
