May 10
Toddler found standing in middle of street
Police were dispatched after a 2 year old was found standing in the middle of Island Crest Way during the middle of the day. Police searched for the boy's home and were eventually contacted by his mother. The boy was returned home and a report was taken for referral to Child Protective Services.

Police were dispatched to an apartment complex on 81st Avenue Southeast after a vehicle was entered overnight and several electronics devices and clothing items were stolen.

Woman arrested after drugs found in car

Police arrested a 26-year-old Mercer Island woman after marijuana and glass smoking pipes were found in her car during a traffic stop on Southeast 28th Street. The woman was originally pulled over for driving with a suspended license. The woman was processed at the Mercer Island police department and later released.Β

Juvenile arrested following fight with parents
Police arrested a 16-year-old Mercer Island boy after he punched his mother and father during a fight. The teen was taken into custody and transported to the King County Juvenile Detention Center.
Woman arrested following traffic stop
Police arrested a 27-year-old Mercer Island woman after the vehicle she was a passenger in was pulled over on 84th Avenue Southeast. A computer check revealed an open warrant on the woman and police took her into custody and booked her into King County Jail.
