Police Blotter: Apartment Burglarized While Residents Away

March 24
Credit card fraud
A woman living on 84th Avenue Southeast contacted police after she was notified that her Macy's credit card number had been used to make purchases at the Alderwood and Northgate stores. Macy's advised the woman that they may have video of the subjects and possibly a license plate number.
March 26
Vehicle Impounded

A vehicle was impounded after it was found abandoned in the 7700 block of Southeast 22nd Street.
Motor stolen from boat

An outboard motor was stolen overnight from a boat parked in a private area on Southeast 28th Street. The motor is valued at approximately $2,900. Bolts left at the scene were submitted for finger printing.
Items missing after move
A man living on Fortuna Drive contacted polcie after he noticed that several items were missing following a recent move. The man suspects one of the people helping with the move. He estimated the value of the missing items to be approximately $2,000.
March 27
Apartment burglarized while residents away
Jewelry and electronics were stolen from an apartment on East Shorewood Drive while the residents were away. It is believed that the subject entered through a kitchen window. Finger prints were taken from the window screen.
Man arrested for outstanding warrant
A 21-year-old Mercer Island man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after he was pulled over for driving without a license plate on the 7800 block of Southeast 27th Street. The driver was transported to King County Jail.
