Mercer Island Police cited a 31-year-old Redmond man for indecent exposure after he exposed himself to a 27-year-old Seattle woman in Lid Park at 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
The man left the park before police arrived but she was able to give officers a positive ID of the man, a description of the man's silver Honda Accord and his license plate number.
Girls Pink Mountain Bike Found
The resident of a home on the 9000 block of SE 79th St. turned in a girls bicycle to police that had been lying on the shoulder of East Mercer Way near her home for several days. The pink and white Trek 21-speed mountain bike was not reported stolen so it was placed into police storage for safekeeping.
Woman Violates Temporary Protection Order
A 57-year-old resident of a home on the 4200 block of 92nd Ave. SE reported a 49-year-old woman had violated a temporary protection order.
Police Find Film Canisters Filled With Marijuana During Traffic Stop
Police arrested a 55-year-old man for marijuana possession after he was pulled over on the 8100 block of SE 32nd St. for a non-functioning license plate light at 1:44 a.m. Officers detected the odor of marijuana in the car and a search revealed several film canisters filled with marijuana. The man was cited and released from the MIPD.
Drug Overdose at Landmark Villa Condos
Police assisted Mercer Island Fire EMTs at the residence of a 24-year-old man who overdosed on Percocet at around 8:30 p.m. Officers located drug residue on a spoon and a partially burned tablet of Percocet inside the condo on the 3000 block of 80th Avenue SE.
Thief Swipes iPhone 4S From MI Football Player
A 16-year-old resident reported his iPhone 4S stolen while he was playing football at the South Mercer Playfields at 2 p.m. on Sept. 22. The phone was left unattended on the sidelines.
ID Thieves Take $714 From Wells Fargo Account
A 53-year-old resident reported his Wells Fargo debit card was used to make several purchases amounting to $714.87 between Sept. 18 - 25.
Daughter loses iPhone at Seven Star
A 57-year-old man reported his daughter lost an iPhone while visiting Seven Star Chinese Restaurant on Sept. 8. The cellphone service provider reported no activity on the phone since that date.
Renton Man Jailed on Warrant
Mercer Island Police transported a Renton man to the Issaquah Jail on a local warrant at 6 a.m.
Handgun, Credit Cards Stolen in SE 53rd Pl Burglary
Burglars broke into the lower-level unit of a home on the 9100 block of SE 53rd Place and stole a handgun, ski boots, numerous credit cards and other valuables. The 44-year-old homeowner said the burglary occurred between 1 - 5 p.m. and that the suspects had already tried to use one of the credit cards three times in Renton.
Home Burglars Swipe Watches in Mercerwood
Three wrist watches were taken in a home burglary from a residence on the 4000 block of 96th Ave. SE. The 70-year-old resident said the burglary occurred between 1:20 -3:30 p.m. and police determined the house was unlocked.
SUV Rear-Ended on Island Crest Way
A 23-year-old Kent man driving a Honda Civic rear-ended a Toyota Rav4 at 2:36 p.m. on the 5800 block of southbound Island Crest Way after failing to stop for traffic ahead of him trying to turn left onto SE 59th Street. He was cited for following too closely and there were no reported injuries.
Wallet Lost in Luther Burbank Park
A 38-year-old Seattle woman reported she had lost her wallet around 5 p.m. on Sept. 20 in Luther Burbank Park. The wallet contained her driver's license and REI Visa credit card.
Issaquah Driver Arrested on Warrant
A police patrol arrested a 22-year-old Issaquah woman wanted on a $2,500 Bellevue warrant at 11:03 p.m. Police pulled over her red Ford Aerostar on the 7700 block of Sunset Highway after a routine vehicle license check indicated her license was suspended.
Truck Stolen From Mercer Island Estates Home
The owner of a GM Yukon XL1500 reported his truck stolen from his residence's driveway on the 7400 block of 86th Avenue SE sometime overnight.
