IslandVision and Mercer Island Patch are co-sponsoring the event, to be held at Mercer Island Middle School

Mercer Island Council candidates and  will appear at a Community Conversation Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 7 - 9 p.m. at the cafeteria.

The event, which is co-sponsored by IslandVision and Mercer Island Patch, will likely be the only public candidate forum between the two candidates before the general election. The pair did appear together a recent  meeting to give and answer questions.

Voters are encouraged to submit questions to candidates on question cards provided at the event, or send them to Mercer Island Patch editor Kendall Watson at Kendall.Watson@Patch.com.
